CampusCAT is more than an app—it's a passion project built around one simple idea: technology should make life easier, not more complicated.
We're Matt and Gina Walter, the husband-and-wife team behind CampusCAT.ai and the founders of Walter Digital Consulting. What started as conversations around our kitchen table eventually became the first major product launch from our company.
Every feature, every idea, and every late-night brainstorming session was inspired by one goal: helping college students stay organized, build confidence, and thrive during one of the biggest transitions of their lives.
The founders
Matt is the technology mastermind behind CampusCAT—or, as Gina likes to call him, our Tech Nerd. His ability to see systems, solve complex problems, and connect the dots sometimes reminds Gina of the famous A Beautiful Mind chalkboard scene. If there's a technical challenge, Matt is already three steps ahead.
Gina brings more than 20 years of marketing experience, endless curiosity, and a notebook full of ideas. Matt affectionately calls her the Feature Factory, because she's always imagining new ways CampusCAT can make life easier for students and their families.
Why it matters
As parents of two amazing kids, we've watched firsthand how much pressure today's students face. College is exciting, but it's also filled with new responsibilities, deadlines, decisions, and expectations.
We believe technology should reduce that stress—not add to it. Our mission is to give students tools that help them stay organized, manage their responsibilities, and spend more time enjoying the college experience. At the same time, we want to give parents confidence that their students are developing the independence they'll need to succeed.

Our roots
Both of us are proud graduates of Bowling Green State University, where Gina also earned her master's degree. Matt grew up on a farm in Fremont, Ohio, while Gina grew up along the shores of Lake Erie in Euclid, Ohio.
Those roots taught us the value of hard work, community, and creating solutions that genuinely help people.
